Last weekend’s Autumn’s Pause class at Yoga Haven felt like a much-needed breath for all of us. We began by wrapping our hands around warm cups of tea, letting the heat soften our edges and open our minds. There was something so comforting about starting together in that quiet way — just sipping, settling, and arriving fully in the space.
From there, we moved into a slow restorative practice with long, supported holds that gave our bodies permission to unwind. Each shape invited a little more release, a little more grounding, a little more space to simply be. We paired the movement with deep, intentional breathwork — the kind that makes you feel like you’re returning to yourself.
We finished with journaling, letting our thoughts spill out onto the page as naturally as the season shifts around us. The room felt soft, safe, and connected — like everyone had given themselves the gift of slowing down.
I’m so grateful to everyone who came and shared their energy. Moments like this remind me why I love holding space: watching people soften, breathe deeper, and take time for themselves.
Here’s to more pauses, more presence, and more honoring what our bodies truly need.
With love,
Michelle
